Jacqueline Neber is an engagement and investigative journalist based in New York. Her work focuses on amplifying the voices of the city’s intellectually and developmentally disabled community, creating news products that increase self-advocacy, and investigating the state agencies responsible for handling abuse and neglect cases. The investigation is forthcoming in spring 2022. She is currently freelancing for ClearHealthCosts.
Jacqueline graduated from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism in 2021 with her MA in Engagement Journalism and Johns Hopkins University in 2018 with a BA in The Writing Seminars. She has years of experience in reporting, creative engagement tactics, newsletter, social media, and digital magazine production, data analytics, and investigative tools. She has covered everything from the ramifications of the 2015 Baltimore uprising to New York special education policy.
